Clinic Owner & Physical Therapist

I’m Carly Thompson, PT, DPT, AIB-VRC, and I’m truly passionate about guiding people through the journey of overcoming their fear of movement, especially after experiencing dizziness or falling. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy with vestibular certification from The American Institute of Balance, I specialize in vestibular rehabilitation and balance disorders. I’m also proud to be PWR! certified, allowing me to provide specialized care for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease through evidence-based exercises and movement strategies. I specialize in both vestibular rehabilitation and Parkinson’s Disease treatment. I believe in addressing the heart of the matter for each person I treat.

As a PWR! certified therapist, I’m specially trained in treating individuals with Parkinson’s Disease using research-backed exercises that target symptoms affecting everyday movements. PWR! (Parkinson Wellness Recovery) is an innovative approach that helps people with Parkinson’s maintain and enhance their mobility, balance, and quality of life through specific movement patterns and strategies. My mission is to help those with Parkinson’s Disease move more confidently and maintain their independence. I want to see you continuing to enjoy your daily activities – whether that’s gardening in your backyard, playing with your grandchildren, or taking your regular morning walk with friends. Through targeted exercises and movement strategies, we can work together to maintain your mobility and help you stay active in the activities that matter most to you.

Just as with Parkinson’s Disease, I want you to know that your dizziness fears are valid and real. You’re not alone, and you’re certainly not crazy. Dizziness is an invisible struggle that can feel like a silent battle. On the outside, you may appear ‘normal,’ but inside, it’s a different story. Dizziness doesn’t discriminate – it affects people of all ages and genders, manifesting in various forms such as vertigo, unsteadiness, or lightheadedness. Describing it can be challenging, but being able to articulate and manage it is crucial, and that’s where I come in. My mission is to help those grappling with dizziness move more and fear less. I want to see you reclaiming joy in your life – strolling down your favorite trail, basking in the sunshine, and feeling the wind on your face (perhaps even braving Texas weather!). Picture yourself confidently navigating a grocery aisle without overwhelming dizziness, or cruising down busy highways like 635, 75, or the tollway to visit a friend. And yes, I want you to relish in precious moments with your adorable grandchild.

Let me be your guide on this journey. It would be my true honor. Whether you’re managing Parkinson’s Disease or dealing with dizziness and imbalance, there is hope, and you can rediscover the joy in your favorite activities. It all starts with the courage to schedule that initial appointment and a commitment to moving forward. The road may not be easy, but it is undoubtedly possible, and I’m here to help you achieve your goals. Reach out, and let’s embark on this journey together!
